About Me

My name is Arlan Shayakhmetov. I was born on April 14, 2004, and I live in Atyrau, Kazakhstan. I am a specialist in Adaptive Physical Education (APE) with hands-on experience working with children with developmental and neurodivergent conditions.
I work with children diagnosed with:

  • Developmental Delay (DD)
  • Speech and Language Delay (SLD)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Cerebral Palsy (CP)
  • Down Syndrome
  • Fragile X Syndrome

My sessions are conducted in both individual and small-group formats. I focus on improving:

  • Gross and fine motor skills
  • Balance and coordination
  • Physical endurance
  • Social interaction

In my practice, I use:

  • Play-based methods
  • Elements of physical therapy
  • Principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

This integrated approach helps children stay engaged and ensures their progress is meaningful and measurable. Every exercise has a functional goal — from jumping with two feet to participating in turn-taking activities.

I am currently deepening my expertise in two areas:

  • Adaptive Physical Education (APE): Developing inclusive motor programs and promoting physical literacy
  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA): Learning behavioral strategies to teach new skills, reduce challenging behavior, and foster independence

My long-term goal is to integrate APE and ABA into a comprehensive, child-centered method that supports physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
